PPE has the highest HP gain and the best on the market, is it? I'm thinking to replace if my stock is cracked !

I'm liking the design, sound, and potential of the Sikky v2's these days. Price isn't too far off from the PPE but are definitely more.

Just finished installing my PPE headers. One of my manifolds had broken flange as I had suspected and now confirmed. Just shy of 70k miles.

Im sure if/when that time comes ill go the same route as everyone else, just go PPE and call it good. Versus battling replacing a stock unit with another stock unit or repairing it

Now that I'm thinking about it, my 2012 F that had 33k miles when stock headers were removed looked like this. I just thought the flange just came loose from them removing it.

Has anyone noticed if the Lexus manifolds that are the replacement parts are any different from the failing ones? Has the problem been addressed?

Quite scary to read about so many ISF's with such low kms/miles having cracked headers etc. Im Sydney based (i know international models can vary, RHD etc) but assume the headers is the same and ive hit 100000kms, touch wood OEM headers in tact.

Guess like others, having a crack will be an ideal time for a forced upgrade vs changing to OEM and possibly having to replace it again.

Actually come to think of it, i know when i start my car, if i let it idle for a few mins, then i hear a slight ticking noise but once i drive, its gone. If i start the car and drive off straight away, i hear nothing either. Only when it idles for a few mins. Could this be header related?

Yup, sounds about correct. Mine is a MY 2012 and I had the ticking sound upon idling at around 35k miles. It would go away after a minute or so of idling because the heat temporarily welds it back into place so it goes away but I was planning on upgrading to PPE headers anyways so it was perfect. I think every ISF will go through this phase of having a crack stock exhaust manifold. I think it's a design flaw because it's on the same side for almost everyone (passenger side).

lexus replaced passenger side on mine under warranty but failed to do the same with my drivers side, a few weeks ago we installed ppe headers and just like i had told lexus my drivers side was cracked as well. i have over 100k miles but had the ticking noise since u purchased my car with 74k miles
