Tom's CF Rear Diffuser Installation

I might pick up a Tom's CF Rear Diffuser in a few weeks. I know that it comes with doublesided adhesive/weatherstripping, but I noticed that it has tabs on the bottom. Does the diffuser mount to existing mounting points/screws/bolts under the bumper or do you have to drill new holes in order to use the mounting tabs? Does anyone have photos of how those tabs are attached to the car/undercarriage? Thanks.

The holes line up with the two plastic push-in bolts underneath. No need for any drilling.

Awesome! There are 4 mounting tabs. Where do the other 2 tabs attach to? Thanks!

How easy is the Tom's diffuser to remove? I would think that a heat gun may do more harm on carbon fiber than on paint/fiberglass?

I didn't have much trouble removing my old Arkym diffuser. I didn't use a heat gun, but I may have used a hair dryer to warm it a little bit (can't remember). The more difficult part is removing all of the adhesive tape from the car and diffuser. Fortunately most of it stuck to the diffuser, but getting it all of will take some elbow grease.

Use a heat gun on the low settings , it helps if u keep the car in the sun for a few to warm it up.

Just put mines on couple days ago . My advice would be clean surface of rear bumper I used a little alcohol pads and then Apply the 3m double sided tape to diffuser and heated the tape up with the heat gun and put it on.then use like masking tape or body shop tape to hold the diffuser in place ,until the double sided tape cures and stick like it should. Also used one long piece of 3m . One end to the other so u don't see no gaps of double sided tape it will look ugly lol , trust me I had to install twice because of that but good luck with install and you can get the 3m tape at auto zone

Thanks for the advice. I will keep that in mind when I pick up the diffuser and am ready to install.
