How to know what smart wallet card works for my ISF
Hey guys,
I'm contemplating getting a smart wallet style key fob for my ISF and was snooping around on eBay and noticed quite a few used options for sale. That being said, if there a definitive way to know that the smart card Wil be able to be programmed to my 09 ISF?
Thanks

I successfully programmed my smart card key with the F logo to my 2011 yesterday...it took me all of 5 minutes. I tried the day before with no luck, but that was because the battery that came with it was DOA. I picked up a new battery for it and it works like a charm now. Such relief too because I called the dealer I ordered it from before I bought it and they ran my VIN# and told me it would not work. If you check your manual (page 38 in mine) it lists several FCC ID numbers that will work with your car. The FCC ID on the wallet card I bought was listed in my manual, so I took a chance. So happy I did too!

I wish I would have known about that prior about the codes . I couldn't help but take the chance with this wallet key fob.. I know they will most likely have to reprogram all of my fobs but now fully this will work on my 09

Part number 89904-53130 is 09-11 while 89904-53131 is 12-14. At least that is what I was told by Sewell Parts. These are for the F logo keys. The others should have different part numbers as well. I'm not sure if any work with 08 (maybe a non-F branded key would if those two truly don't work?)
When Sewell had the site going and online support it wasn't difficult to figure out, but now I'm not sure where best to get the info. Maybe mylparts or the Atlanta online store.
