Tomorrow is finally the day.
My trek to buy the perfect ISF has finally arrived. Have been looking since last July. Tuesday morning I started my 4000+ mile trek to get the F. Drove from Watford City North Dakota to Milwaukee. Flew out of Milwaukee to Chicago, then Chicago to Houston. Met Shaun (Stealthff). I have to say so far the experience has been very rewarding and I haven't even officially bought the car. Couldn't have asked to meet a nicer more class act guy that introduced me to some of his friends that were equally as nice. Today has been well worth the trip so far. And to those of you that have opinions on cars wih higher miles on them. This car feels brand new and the way in which Shaun has taken care of the car makes cars much newer with half the miles look silly. This guy and his car are the real deal. It drives as good as new. These cars I believe once again if taken care of were overbuilt. It has 107k on it and nothing rattles on or in it at all. The interior is easily 9.75-10 and exterior 9 out of 10 simply because you can not keep a car "perfect" with that many miles. But as I said I wouldn't hesitate to compare this car to anything half it's age and miles. Anyhow I will keep the rambling to a minimum and I finally will be able to understand what it's like to be a part of this great group. Until tomorrow where I will be posting some pictures.
Shaun could not be included since he had to take the picture. Everything went smooth now fir the trek home. What a car.
I think Shaun said this is how it is supposed to be done.

In my eyes. 2008 and I won't give in to much on how much I paid as I think it usually brings on posts that usually are opinionated takig away from the whole reason of "this" post. Tomorrow I will post some pics and like I say Stealthff still has pics posted under the classifieds.

The anticipation will surely keep you from getting a good night's rest, but that's a good thing. Enjoy your new to you IS F, and for it to come from a fellow member, you can have a general sense of how well maintained it was over its lifetime before you take the keys. Enjoy her to the fullest!

Congrats and many happy miles. And you are absolutely right about the F being durable. I beat on mine at the track and she just smiles and gets me home like any other Lexus sedan.

Congratulations to you and your new ISF! That is one heck of a journey to find your perfect ISF. You will not be disappointed in this car and the potential it has. Especially after you get an exhaust and you heard that 5.0 v8 open up..

Congrats.
I bought from a CL member as well and he was a class act. Walked me through everything, gave me all stock parts, manuals. It was a great experience. I just only had to drive 13 miles.
Good for you. Hope you enjoy driving it back.

Thanks all pics will come soona after everything has been done. And thanks for the warm welcomes. I wouldn't think of buying another sports car with higher miles after I was in this one. This car I still believe extended the overbuilt theme Lexus once had.

You took the words right out of my mouth. That's exactly how I felt about mine! Can't wait to see your purchase!

Congrats on the purchase! Let me know if you are ever back in the Milwaukee area, only ever seen one other ISF on the road here besides me. Sad really, I drive my year round here, this car doesn't get enough credit for how solid it is even through a Midwestern winter.
