My thoughts exactly when Vossen first came out. A lot of their designs look like rip-offs of other high profile wheels... Never really understood what set this company apart or why the high costs. Maybe just good marketing? I'm in no way trying to bash, its just personal opinion and observations.

Just wanted to share this. The rep I have been working with to get new wheels sent was incredible. Prob best costumer service I have ever experienced.

I told him about the video that was posted. Heres his response and yes Im sure he is going to deny or argue the point but I got some good facts.

Hi Nick,

Yes I remember this guy posting. What I don’t understand was the magnet because we test magnets on our wheels and they do not stick to our wheels.

Lot’s and lot’s of reps of our wheels which was another reason we remade them with our vossen logo. I saw this video had that sa,me logo but how magnets stick is questionable because our wheels certainly don’t do that.

You can try a magnet on your current wheels.

Glad we could assist you. Enjoy the CV3-R’s!

Best Regards.

What are the tire specs? Are you lowered or have any fender mods or rubbing?

I will get you tire specs. I always freaking forget because I have rims on other car to and I always mix them up.

20x9 +32 in front and 20x10.5 in rear.

I have fenders rolled professionally.

I scrub sometimes when pulling out of driveway I just figured out how to get around that. Sometimes when backing up or in tight turns I rub but its only the fender liners. To be honest I want a clean low look. I dont mind replacing fender liners after a few years. I rub on big dips when on high way but it rarely happens.

Oh I am sitting on KW V3's. Best ride I have ever had.

Hope you dont have any more issues with the wheels.
I've had my cast wheels for a long time no issues and they didn't break the bank

good luck !!!

For as much as I drive it shouldn't be many issues but you never know. I keep a close eye on them now especially when washing.

I love other style wheels but they just dont look that great on our cars. I love the way the Vosen pulls out the body lines in this car. I'm still searching for something different down the road.

CV3's are one of my favorite classic Vossen Wheels. I have had nothing but great experiences with the wheels and the company. I'm on my third set currently - Had CV3, CV7, VFS1's and looking to get Vossen X Works next. Take a look at the vossen works with the 5 spoke with a lip.

As to your question about off sets - I had 20x9 32 offset in the front of my 2011 IS350 and had no issues with rubbing etc. I just had to shave the bumper tap a little and move the screw and it was perfect. Not sure about with the ISF how different the wheel well is with offsets but I heard others with ISF had 32 offset and didn't have issues. Enjoy your new CV3R's

Like the new ones. Not sure what I will go to next.

However I had 32's in the front. The new Vossens are 28 offset in fronts and they still worked out well. Remember lower the number the more aggressive.

I am loving the new creation from Vossen and Work. Mike invited me to SEMA this year again but I didn't have time to go because of my moms retirement. The new line have these cool finishes and the double step lip. I almost did a set of the Vossen Forged over my HREs. Maybe next round .
