well do we know if those tips will weld on fine onto the x-force exhaust WITH mufflers? Thats the only thing holding me back from choosing this exhaust.

Somehow this link isn't giving me anything but a google search, even though jondis said its his exact tips haha. My internet is broken apparently.

I'd much rather buy from Amazon.

But read the one review.

Thanks Lou! That review threw me off, but lead me to some tips that look like exactly what I need.

Thanks for the responses guys.

Sounds and looks great, Jondls33!

I have been wanting to do this. You just confirmed that I should.

Can anyone confirm yet if these will line up / work with the rear mufflers attached?

Getting sick of the exhaust smell.. And thats wil the primary cats still there! If i end up going the headers route then will need to pop some high flow cats into the exhaust, and will DEFINITELY need the tips through the bumper to minimise the smell.

No have checked all that, only happens under WOT, is a product of the exhaust ending under the car and not out the tailpipes.

Seal up the 2 air flaps (with some duct tape) in the boot and see if it still gets in the cabin, what exhaust and mods have you got .

Isn't there a reason we cant tape them up, cabin pressure equalisation? And you have to remove a section of the boot for one side from memory, will search the forum..

I still have primary cats and factory manifolds (widened), then X-Force with widened entry to match the modified primary cats.

Just take the inner boot panels off and have a look you can tape them up just temp and see if it works. They are only there for cabin pressure when you shut the door. Hey going to Sonny's tomorrow for the tune and the cat widening will see how it goes cheers.Anything I should ask him before he tunes it.

Ok ill have a look into the vents today, will see if it makes a difference. I thought i had to take out part of the boot to get to one side.. Will investigate..

Very exciting about the tune, your setup will be the same as mine, so interested to see the end power figure. Make sure you let me know!!

My exhaust shipped today, can't wait to get it installed!

For anyone that has installed recently, are the Bosal gaskets still required for the manifold connection? Or has XForce started shipping better ones as of late?

Xforce flanges dont have the grooves for the stock gaskets. It will be very difficult to line it up so that they actually seal good. I used the ones that came with it or if you can get one like that, but thicker would be better.

Thanks for the reply.

Did you experience any leaks with the gaskets that came with it?

Yes i actually did. I dont know if the flanges were not perfectly flat, but i took a belt sander to them and got some thicker gaskets.
