Vivid Racing claims that the product was only launched yesterday, also claiming that they can raise the rev limiter, change the vmax, lift the 02 limits. Time will tell I guess

We have been working on ECU development for nearly 5 months.... This means not only learning how to read and write to the Lexus ECU, but developing our understanding of the ECU and how it functions, understanding long term knock correction over a wide temperature range. Understanding the impact of modifications such as exhaust/headers/decat/intakes.

We will only release a tune once we are fully confidant we got it right. Vivid Racing already takes $800 from folks for a nonsense module that plugs into the OBD port -- a complete piece of you know what

Rafi
We will be able to run forced induction? Twin turbos here I come

I predict if Rafi can make this come to fruition then it will be the second best selling mod besides an exhaust for the F........

I think Rafi/Simon should make a thread about the upcoming re-flash so the questions can start to flow!!

I'm sure when the time comes they'll make a thread. I'm sure he doesn't want to be asked millions of questions that will be answered if and when the product comes to fruition.

imagine how boring the F would be if RR racing wasn't in the picture this past year.

Vivid Racing has offered a dyno and tune to me, free of charge, provided I post the results. I am still working out the details but, maybe, just maybe, this is legit. I am going into this with a lot of skepticism and apprehension but, who knows. If it doesn't work out, at least I get a free dyno.

When I get the details ironed out, I'll report back.

Man im in for the RR Racing tune

Since most us us either have a JoeZ intake or a JoeZ intake with the JoeZ exhaust i would imagine they would offer those two tunes then add products such as Borla and the RR Racing intake

With free also comes headaches. A friend of mine did something similar and the tune messed his F up. His F spent some time at the dealership getting fixed. Luckily the tuner paid for the damage they caused.

If you do go foward with this.... The initial dyno will show gains. Then about 500 to 1000 miles later a dyno needs to be performed to see if the tune/flash actually stuck. If they say only one dyno is needed...please please please do not believe it.
