My first track day ever was at Summit Point with an event called Helmets Off To Heros. A friend of mine put the bug in my ear so I signed up and the rest was history. Even though I suck I'm still Hooked!
8 months later and I'm now in Germany, Nordschleife!!
Went up to Nuburgring the other day and did my first wet track ever. It was very slick on summer tires and with my lack of knowledge and confidence on a wet track I took it easy. I didn't want to be on one of the YouTube videos sliding into the guard rail.
DAMN !!!! The Nurburgring !!! Takes the cake. That's pretty cool that you tackled it in the wet. Very impressed
APR wing, but we make our own custom mounts inside the trunk. This wing generates some serious downforce at speed, so if you just bolt it to the trunk sheet metal, it will dent it from the pressure.

I have a track day at AMP tomorrow but I'm not sure if I'm going to pass sound check with my JZ exhaust. Supposed to be 94dB from 50 feet at WOT on the back straight. We will see. Next week they are running Wild Horse Pass/ Bondurant Main course. They have not run that course since 2012 !!! A new track !!! Also found out they are currently building an all new race track about 85 miles from me. Super excited
