New ride but wont sell the F until pried from my cold, dead hands
Hey Guys,
So I'm still in awe of the IS-F every time I snap through the gears on corner exit with FBO/Sport Manual Mode, plus I really love the character of our motor, but have been missing a manual tranny as an option when I want it. I looked at a number of vehicles to add alongside the F, including the GTR etc, but decided to go back to my roots since an 87' model was the first vehicle I owned as a teenager. Like the title sais, the IS-F will be a part of my stable until the day I die and I have no desire to sell it, but hopefully she doesn't get jealous having to share garage space.
It just underwent a 100 point ground up restoration with full restomod treatment. I'm pumped but the amount of attention this thing gets at gas stations etc will definitely take getting used to.

Thanks BeiberNutz, SOCalISF and Pie I appreciate it. Now the wifey can drive all our gear to the track without having to load the F down with all that crap lol. You've got that right SoCalISF lol, the first on the mod list is an under dash AC and tined windows. Man it's been a brutal summer.
If any of you guys are also Chevy owners with built motors any resources you can share for high performance parts/high quality shops for installs etc, would be much appreciated. I've been out of the loop for several years as far as what's possible nowadays with Chevy small blocks.

Thanks tas02, yeah it's the 1960 model. I was originally shopping the 1959 since it was the original body but when I found this particular one, I fell in love. They documented every aspect of the build so it was cool because I felt like I knew exactly what I was getting.

Thanks Brian, I appreciate it man. Thanks again also for that smogging solution a while back. I had no problem. Btw, I'm still interested in meeting up for a trackday if you are? Me and a buddy of mine are planning one for Chuckwala. in Nov if you're game.

Definitely interested, my friend. It will depend heavily on my work schedule and if I have to travel or not.I know a few members here who are also interested in a track day, so if scheduling allows, we should have ourselves a pretty good time on the asphalt.
