Been researching exhausts a bit and was wondering if anyone has the full PPE header and PPE Dual mode exhaust to review? I'm interested and the existing videos have always been combos between mfg.'s.

I have the exhaust dual mode love it !
Quite when I come home 3am and loud when open if you perfect for the luxury car.

Just broke it in 500 miles.

Thank you flowrider and toky916. Yes, I read the link (awesome btw) but was hoping for some better videos with proper sound.

I'm contemplating about contacting PPE about making a video for them, with a proper camera/sound production crew. But it might be cost prohibitive. I'd say 99.9% of the exhaust videos online are done with go pros or smartphones, not the best in sound reproduction.

I don't have headers but this is my car. taken with a professional directional mic at 25ft. Good speakers do the sound justice, wish I had taken more footage but that will have to wait until I get headers.

Nice video

I was talking to the guys that did sound for all the gymkhana and FF series on our last job. Was thinking of putting together a video with multiple mics for the different spl levels. Getting them to do it would need a little coaxing $$, lol

The PPE exhaust sounds pretty nice and refined. You have the stock cats in?

Yeah, production quality would help sell better imo. Although there is a ceiling. I just hired a student from the university near me (friend of mine son), paid him some money to come out with me and take some footage. I probably should have done a better job on the vision so we could get more footage but oh well was glad to help him with some cash while letting him do something he enjoyed.


My car has the PPE dual stage with hi-flow cats (I believe the brand is ECT). Stock headers with cats also. I didn't want to go full catless as my longer term plans I think will include getting the PPE headers.
