How do you guys clean your Toms Ram Air Filter? Mine is due for a cleaning but I'm not sure how to go about it.

Curious as well, I'm about to order my Tom's Filter today from Nigel JDM, but won't have it for about 4 weeks.

Throw it in a pepboys bucket with just a drop of dish soap.
Hose it down in the bucket.
Let it dry

And if your going to be hosing it, I'd spray from the back that way debris isn't pushed deeper into your filter.

the last time I cleaned mine, I tapped it to loosen up some of the dirt and specks of crap in it, then took the hose and sprayed it from top to bottom forcing the dirt to seep to the bottom and eventually out. Let it lay out in the sun and make sure its 100% dry before reinstalling.

Defratos

Take it out,

Tap it about to get any loose dirt out,

Run a water hose from the inside out,

Let is sit in soapy water for 30 mins, this will get lots of dirt out,

Then leave it out for at least 24hrs to dry.

I've done this on my Afe filter and it's still running strong. Where did you buy Tom's filter? I want to get one for when I'm doing this maintenance swap.
