Lexus did a good job of putting in the new parts. They did an absolutely terrible job of being mindful of my aftermarket parts, such as my radar, dash cam, and grom bluetooth adapter. I now have to take it all apart and redo it again. Pretty pissed off about that, but happy to be rid of the sticky panels.

I bought my 08 Lexus IS F last year from a repair shop. Front dash was replaced. Car has 76,000 miles, garage kept no hot sun. Got it out last month from winter storage and all my door panels started turning hazy and yes Sticky. It was a one owner from Kentucky. Now in Missouri. I used to repair cars years ago. Anyone thought of lightly spraying the panels with Trim black? I'm not sure if Lexus will replace mine with a Branded Title? Although I gave them a ton of service work. It appears that Vinyl conditioner lasts for 3 weeks. I assume this will happen to all the 2008 models. Thanks for any input.

Thanks for responding. Odd extended warranty. Typically warranties cover under certain miles and age. We're all way past that. I did just register my car with Lexus. Dealer Records are impeccable since new. I'm surprised no one showed that when selling these cars. I sure will show the 10 pages of service History. I have the Airbag open recall. But again Salvage History. Does Lexus roll the dice with that one too? Does anyone know the Recall Notice number? I have one from another posting of RO 209531

Trying to save Lexus panels
I had my salvage car dealer license for 13 years. Also had a small body shop. I'm going to be hopeful that these soft panels need a light surface catalyst introduced. I tried out wiping my panel down with lacquer thinner then a light spray with SEM's trim black. Can't be coated heavy but light. The sprayed panel looks perfect for now. I'm not a chemist but if this works then we possibly have a fix.

Hey, fellow Isf members, a quick question, my door cards aren't sticky but they get very soft and damage easily.
Mine is a MY08 Japan import so I'm not lucky enough to have my cards replaced under warranty, so chances are I'm going to have to fix them or buy them new.
My question is for clarity and confirmation is the door cards the same for a LHD and RHD car?
