^ agreed. I get almost as many compliments on the lights as I do the F, I think because people around here don't know about the F.

The rear tail-lights really do make a bigger difference for the 2IS platform.

Have had mine since March or so, go through car wash 3x a week. No issues with flickering or condensation.

Do these require resistors to be installed and wired in?

Just removed my 3Is style (spec-D) for the 11-13 ISx50. Had the slightest of flicker when idling on them, all resistors were included.

^spec-d had a flicker? Are the 11-13 all led? Curious how they look lit up

Mine had the slightest of flicker when car was running at idle. When it was turned off or had light pressure to the accelerator there was no flicker.

For the 11-13 lights, there red portion is full LED, I have already swapped the backup bulbs with some LEDs and I am replacing my turn signal with a red LED (to eliminate egg yolking). I can take some pictures later when everything's done but they are just the stock lights from any 11-13 ISx50.

I want those stock lights haha they're tough to find and not cheap when you do..

I'm probably gonna pull the trigger on the spec d's in the next month or so..

Anybody know if the CF18 SmartTap that Diode Dynamics sells would negate the need to use resistors when installing the Spec-D tails?
I already got one for my front LED turn signal bulbs (and for the tap-to-flash feature), so I'm hoping it'll do double duty.

Installed these a few days ago but went a slightly different route as far as aesthetics. Looking at all the optioms of the Spec D tail lights, the red is too bright, smoke is too dark, and clear is eh. So I bought the smoked with clear lens and overlayed red film on it. It gives the lights a nice darker red I think.

I had the red version on my IS350 last year and was not really thinking about buying another set for the ISF. However, I just looked again and I see they now offer a Jet Black version which I dont think was available last year but thought at the time would be a very good looking combination. Looks like I might be buying them again. lol
