I had the red version on my IS350 last year and was not really thinking about buying another set for the ISF. However, I just looked again and I see they now offer a Jet Black version which I dont think was available last year but thought at the time would be a very good looking combination. Looks like I might be buying them again. lol
member DCguy has those installed on his F, must be 78works bc he's had them for a while.
Installed these a few days ago but went a slightly different route as far as aesthetics. Looking at all the optioms of the Spec D tail lights, the red is too bright, smoke is too dark, and clear is eh. So I bought the smoked with clear lens and overlayed red film on it. It gives the lights a nice darker red I think.
I like this a lot! Love how the LED's are distinguished even when they are off. Exact look I wanted, but still very happy with my smoked. Thanks for adding this to the discussion!
Just installed a set of the jet black ones on my car. There is a weird white outline around the edge of the lights only visible at certain angles, but overall I am very happy with them. Installation is very straight forward even with the extra wiring for resistors.

I gotta ask: are the turn signals amber? I've seen some rendered pics of the same ones on eBay with them red via k2motor and they have a sale right now. Really want to jump on it before it ends.

^^^^Interchangeable. I'm running late model smoked ISX50 taillights on my '08 ISF. The harness is different, but that's it. Aftermarket lights come with their own harness.

thank you. the seller told me it was not interchangeable, which is why i asked. I figure it would be the same wiring as the early IS model.
