Talking New wheels installed

I just want to give a shout out to Vossen (specifically Mike and Diego). They came through for me with some AWESOME customer service. I decided to replace my CV3's with the newest flow formed VFS2's in gloss graphite, and I am BEYOND excited about them. I absolutely love these wheels. Sorry for the crappy cell pics, I just got them installed last night and I didn't want to wait until the car was clean to snap some pics lol. If anyone is interested in a set of these wheels, hit up one of the forum vendors and they will get you taken care of.

Specs:
Model: Vossen VFS2
20x9 +32 fronts
20x10.5 +45 rears

245/30/20 fronts
285/25/20 rears
Finish: Gloss graphite

Personally I don't see the appeal in Vossens. Your isf looks well put together nonetheless. ( especially the rear end)

Looking good bro.

20's eh, nice!

I personally prefer them over the last ones. Think more spokes works well on these cars.

Ignore the drop comments, you'll only end up smashing stuff up like the others!

I'll get Coilovers for mine at some point, but will keep it at a sensible height.

Great work chap.

From far looks like stock OEM 08/09 wheels. Which isn't a bad thing.

WOW !! That looks amazing. I like these wheels better than the old style. These have more detail and the contrast looks much better. The offset even looks more aggressive . Even if they are the same offsets it could be the contrast making it look that way. HANDS DOWN one of the nicest looking F's I have ever seen on this forum or anywhere . Your mods and tasteful and extremely complete. Your car is a show car bud. Like I said when we hit C&C together we do before and after shots !! Bone stock vs WORKED !! Congrats again bro

To each his own, but I'm really digging the new wheels from Vossen, much more detailed and the gloss vs. the matte makes it look much cleaner in person.

I appreciate it. Vossen makes a good wheel, I've had 3 sets so far, and I keep going back to them because I love their product and customer service. I've had multiple after market wheels, including Volk Wheels, Rays, Modular Concepts, Tenzo, XXR, and other brands...almost all with issues that their manufacturers wouldn't stand behind. My Volk wheels had an incredibly thin finish on the lips that came off in a few spots, my brothers work wheels permanently stained the finish from some meguires wheel cleaning soap, my modular concepts had peeling issues with the finish on the face and lips, the Rays were decent, the Tenzo's weren't that bad - they were a cheap entry level wheel that chipped pretty easy but for the money not too bad, and the XXR's were junk.

Thanks Peter! I appreciate the compliments! Your car is looking great, the progress you made on that thing in such a short amount of time is incredible! Keep it up!

I had to roll the fenders in the rear because I was rubbing even at stock height. I am not sure if later years don't have that issue because I mimicked a guys setup on here - same specs and same exact wheels and I rubbed in the rear on hard dips but he experienced no rubbing. I had them rolled in the rear, and even after lowering on swift springs and people in the back it doesn't rub at all anymore.

Thanks bro! I am definitely impressed with the details on these new wheels. I'm loving the Vossen embossed logo on the edges, the detail in the spokes, and the way the wheel weights are hidden because theres a little lip on the the inside of the rim that the wheel weights are hidden by. I was also wondering about the offset too because although they are the same specs, they seem to fit a lot more flush then my CV3's did, maybe it just appears that way because of the wheel edge. I'm glad I went with the gloss graphite, it is a little brighter then my matte CV3's were, so it does add a little more contrast and the car doesn't look "blacked out" like the darker finish on the CV3's.

A unique set of Vossens that I haven't seen on a 2IS or IS F. It's a really nice look on your ride. The only con compared to the other set would be how easy it is to clean between spokes on these new ones. But overall, they work well with the F. Nice choice!
