I just positioned them where I wanted it.Drilled holes and used about 8 self tapping screws per side. Its been a while with no issues of them coming off.

I know this is an old thread and may not be totally related. I am about to purchase the rear aprons but not 100% sure if the aprons come with the hardware needed to install them. ( the aluminum looking piece in the picture on the AIT site)

Oh, i mean the two rear pieces. That go on the rear bumper. Theres a pic that shows a bracket but not sure if it comes with the aprons or if it was custom fabricated. If I need to custom make the bracket Ill just wait to buy them and buy something else instead.

Why don't you contact the seller and ask if it includes the mounting hardware?

I found those same pieces on eBay and asked the seller - he confirmed they did include the bracket you are referring to, but you should check with the place you intend to buy them from just to be sure.

I called AIT direct who makes the kit and said that he thought that the bracket was from the original bumper. I went ahead and ordered them. We shall see. Takes a long time to recieve items when they come from the wesr coast to here.
