What a way to start the new year...
Just went into Starbucks to get some coffee and I come out and see a note on my windshield. I'm thinking oh cool, another ISF owner maybe passed by and left a note. I get closer to my car and notice bumper damage... :(
https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...2e577d9fb5.jpg They left a note with their policy number. At least there are still good people in this world. Hopefully he can get the claim going so I can get the bumper replaced sooner than later! |
They could have bailed. Not to bad

Wow that sucks but at least they left a note. And if there is one thing I have learned about parking lots...it doesn't matter if you park next to the door or on the back 40 if there is a will, there is a way.

I have been in that situation before, with no note. It is a bummer either way, but the note reaffirms the belief there are good people left in the world, as stated. I still make it a practice to park in the back 40 though!

You can get a bumper from Sewell for 600 painted just in case. Pretty nice of them to leave a note

Unfortunately things like this happens. I'm glad there are still responsible people who own up to their mistakes and take the right path. Hit and runs are a pain to deal with and it definitely leads to bad karma sooner rather than later. Best of luck on the repairs.

I had a simiar situation happen to me. However, the note that was left included a bogus phone number. So I was stuck with the deductible. I hope the person who hit your car left credible information. It seems sometimes people will leave a note only because others are watching and they Just jot down some garbage. Good luck.

ouch.. its ok, you get a new bumper now haha
