Direct from my email.....

Sorry for the delay but here is the comparison dyno graph. Pretty good gains mid range but something doesn't seem right in the upper end. I was expecting far higher gains as I can feel it for sure.

Stock isf with hks SSM full system put down 357hp 344tq on a mustang dyno in town. Mine has e cutouts and removed mid muffler, good for 10 and 10.

Regardless 25-28 ft-lb dynojet equivalent throughout for 45 minutes of my time and 20 bucks. I'll take it.

I need to find a local with headers to race.

Only change was my heavier 20" adv1 wheels compared to the stock.

Very interesting. How does this dyno compare to a typical Joe Z/PPE header combo? I always assumed the full bolt ons gave us 400whp but maybe I'm wrong

^^^^Yes it does, ON A DYNOJET dyno. Can't compare a Dyno Dynamics with a DynoJet. Dyno Dynamics read low.

However, below is a thread with stock manifolds and the primary cats intact. The results on a Dyno Dynamic Dyno show 321WHP.

What are the hp and torque gains over stock? 6hp and 25-28 ft-lbs?

O2 managed with Sikky condtioners as per an earlier post.

Gains at redline were limited to about ~6hp (considerably more if compared to a dynojet or mustang dyno)

But the gains throughout the midrange where you really want the useable power were impressive.

Lobux would be one of the best sources to comment, but these gains would be great on a track.

so header tubing is still holding the car back, since you get even larger gains with better designed manifolds in addition to losing primary cat

^^^^No, No, No! This is wrong! It's like the Esurance add on TV - That's not how it's works.

I've posted this graph many times. Look the the mid range bump over stock with headers. I posted my thoughts here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...uestion-3.html

And was ridiculed by lobuxracer. But, the results in this thread prove me correct.

To me, 331.72 max power on a stock F seems low, even for a dynojet w/ SAE correction.

whats so wrong about what I said. From red to green line, the difference being headers, there is a way bigger gain than the gutted cats mod

Misunderstood. When you said Header tubing - I thoughts you meant tubing on the headers not on the stock manifolds.

Yes, you are correct.

post 63 for gutted header gains, then post #70 for gains with real headers (red vs green lines). Real headers are way better especially on top end
