I would've much rather done this then spending a grand on PPE installation, and $1,500 on headers! I am ISF shopping again... so good to know!

Any chance something like this would work in place of the o2 sims?

The question is.. is this easily reversible? If you gutted the cats and wanted to reverse it in the future, would the entire header assembly be need to be replaced? This would ultimately require the subframe to be dropped, which would make it an expensive job. I'm also curious to hear how it sounds completely decatted. I would imagine it sounds insane! I just don't want the gas smell

I remember doing a similar setup on my old RSX Type S for the race header setup, and it worked. No CEL's.

Not sure if this would work for the F, but may be worth a try since it's very inexpensive.

Is it not easier to just cut out the primary cats and weld a pipe in between?

How does that seem easier than smacking it with a hammer?

I did the same on a previous car. It worked as well.

Not to state the obvious, but since there seem to be a few folks planning to take a hammer to their cats just remember that those things cost about $1900 each from Lexus.

Guys, Keep in mind when you remove all cats, The Gas smell is coming... The only way to avoid this is by going with aftermarket high flow cats (secondary).

I just sold my manifold for 150 or so... They can be found cheap.

I never experienced this gas smell BTW.
