LOL at you guys willing (perhaps even eager?) to shoot someone simply for messing with your car.

Gun or not, this situation couldn't have turned out better. I'm glad he was caught with little damage done

I live in Union County - Union/Kenilworth area.

My hood is very quiet and I am a light sleeper (especially when my car is outside) - I heard the first pop of the bumper clip and then a second, I was wondering what could be happening at 1:30am making that noise..so I peaked out.

Thieves like that are worthless pieces of ****. I've worked my *** off for what I have, so if some lazy, no-good @$$h0le tries to steal that from me, it's not going to end well for that person. Bad people deserve to have bad things happen to them. Perhaps having his knee shot out will deter him from trying something like that again.

Just checked out the car again..no dents or scratches but the bastard removed 95% of the clips and screws holding the bumpers and side skirts in place. He must have been removing clips and screws for a while before I caught him. I need to go to the dealer for all new stuff...ugggh.

Not planning on going through insurance....repair costs should be less than the $500 deductible.
