I just had Neova AD08R tires put on. I'm doing a driving school Saturday and a Solo2 on Sunday - I'll try to report back...

 

R888's are damn near drag tires. 1800 whp gallardos use those and run perfect...

 

I had the PS2 initially and now have the PSS in the stock sizes. They are great summer tires but why can't be compared with the Toyos. The Toyos are noisier but they're R compounds and even without too much heat, they hook up. Next time the PSS completely wear out, I'm going full toyo R888 around all corners - I'm just using them for drag racing for now.

Same here. I have no problem loosing traction in a straight line with 305 PSS tires. Cornering is a whole differant story
Then again I'm on an 08' rear diff. with all power mods.

We are waiting on new wheels with 305 R888s to arrive for the Supra. That car doesn't get many miles per year and has an even harder time with traction using an LSD.
The R888 is going to be the street tire for now on and I can't wait to see how it does on that car.
If it's the right tire I will probably switch to those on the ISF as well once my PSS wear out.

They're good for going straight, but they have soft mushy sidewalls and roll when turning. For everyday driving, I wouldn't do it on MT.
