That's why Lexus added a limited slip differential in later model years. It made a huge difference.

Yep. It was ~.9s faster on the same track in 2010, which was also faster than the best laps posted by the M3 and C63 AMG. And in this case, it was the same driver in the ISF in both races, so any margin for error due to driver skill can be reasonably eliminated.
