Default TOMS Front Splitter Owners Enter Please!

I love the look that the TOMS front splitter gives! However, my car is a DD and I'm going to also be switching to BC coils and lowering it a little bit. Have you guys had any mishaps with your splitter? Do you find it scraping a lot? Also, have any of you tracked your car with it? How's it holding up? Sorry for the million questions but the last thing I want to do is watch $1400 break into broom stick pieces or look like a $13.99 piece after wear and tear.

I tried searching the forums but nothing populated really besides peoples sigs. Sorry if this has been discussed before.

I have had it on for I think about 3 to 4 months. I am dropped on BC Coils and have scraped 1 time. I am just very careful.

Not to worry, u can always go hardware store and get some velcro and tape it underneat to prevent scraping . i have it over 2 yrs now and its find sometime u scrape a bit but just use black marker to ease it out lolz. its Tom's front lip :P

I used to use velcro but it got torn up, now I use those adhesive sliders you use under furniture for hardwood floor and it works really well and it's not noticeable.

Depends how low you have the car really. I am slammed on my F and I am contemplating on getting the toms lip also. I would definately have to raise the front if I did because I already scrape over almost every driveway

I used skateboard slip tape. I installed it in 2011 and it is holding up well.

I covered the entire bottom of my Tom's lip. Takes time.

I stuck a piece on to the bottom of a heavy weight and dragged it around the concrete outside. The thing is so slippery it is amazing and very little wear.

Did any of you install your own? If you did, how hard was the install? Would you recommend having a body shop install it?

Lastly does anyone know what carbon fiber pattern TOMS uses?

This sounds like a good idea. Thanks
