Default Whats a good price for a 2008 f?

Hi all! Been looking for an f for a while now, and planning on picking one up pretty soon. What is a good price for the 2008's I have seen one with only 23k miles and another at 48k miles, they are one owners and are priced at 38k. Any problems I should be looking for in these cars? I've owned many toyotas and had never had any problems, I assume the same with the f, however I'm worried that the previous owners drove the crap out the them and I don't want to have to shell out tons of cash to fix, rather than to spend that extra to buy a lesser mile or newer car. Your thoughts??

Thanks in advance!!

I just saw a White 2008 ISF on Carmax yesterday for $37k with 29k miles. It got sold overnight. I checked it out before as well, it only had one owner but it had two reported accidents. Which is why I think the price was a lot lower.

I predict the price on used F's will never fall below a certain floor, I'm guessing that floor to be around 25K. I wouldn't be surprised to eventually see the price of used F's go up, not down.

To the OP, somewhere in the $35k-$40k range seems to be the going price for good condition 08s with less than 70k miles. Some people have found cars in the lower 30s, but those are rare finds, private party sales, or high mileage cars. If you prepare yourself to spend $40k, you'll have no trouble finding a quality used ISF.

Look for 1 owner, stock, low miles. Those are the 3 rules I live by. In 2011 bought my stock 08 with 16K miles, 1 owner. Only issue I had was nav screen going out & vibrating rearview mirror, which were covered under warranty. Another common issue is leaky waterpump, which mine does not have, knock on wood. Solid car and maintenance is reasonable for a 400+hp car.

This has been around for maybe a few months, i have no clue if it's a real ad as i've seen it around at such a low price for a bit. Looks extremely clean and the vin does match to a 2008 ISF. Just putting it up here if anybody wants to email/give it a try!

your car was 3 years old, one owner and very low mileage when you bought it, and so was mine (13,500mi). In my opinion, that made for a great deal, because the car was practically new, but at a reasonable price. I always buy used and lease new.

Sold mine about a month ago for $39,500 with 38k miles. Car was sold as is with all the mods. Good deals are out there. You need to be patient and you'll find the right car. By far the best car for the money right now (in my opinion). Good luck with your search

Ok, found one 2008 with only 6200 miles, the original owner pampered this car. Its in great shape, however he's asking 48k, and his bottom line is 45k. imo I think its high, what do you guys think this car should go for, I'm thinking 40k? Thoughts???
