Here's two more related threads to the 25hr race at Thunderhill. IS-F CCS-R would have made 2nd had it not been for the 45 minute delay because of the rear axle

Unfortunately, racing is about where you are when it's finished, not where you could have been. It happens every weekend - some guy leads half the race (or more) only to have something happen and all that effort ends up in a less than first place finish. An old racing quote - to finish first, you must first finish.

Congrats to Lexus for taking the plunge and putting a street based car into competition. We've missed it for quite some time.

Agreed...!!!!

For their first 25hr Race they did fantastic..!!

The axle giving out did keep them off the podium..

Not bad for a car that has been literally abused since it was built.

They had a strong showing @ Thunderhill Raceway

Once the F got around the Camaro, it looked like it entered warp speed. Here's one of my favorite parts

We all know close does not count in racing, but it is one hell of car...and the owners all know what is it capable of doing.

Way to go Lexus...let's see more racing.
