Hello All

Just bought an 11' ISF eariler tonight with 50k km's. Yup i'm in Canada.
Two questions;
is the CPO a good investment for this model ($2200 for 3 yrs 160k km's)
And second, i've had a number rear wheel drive hp cars (SRT8, 540, G37 coupe, mustangs), any advice on how this monster acts in the snow?

Thanks look forward to the forum.

Cheers!

I have a full set of Blizzaks for the winter. I certainly wouldn't do without. I'm an AK native that did college in Colorado with a truck that spent most time in RWD. Get a set of winter tires, really....

Snows are deffinatly in the near future. I had blizzacs on my G37 and seen to work well?
Did you go down to a 18"?

I'm in Ontario as we'll. I have a '12 IS F. Drove it last winter with no problems. I kept in snow mode most days and with traction & stability control I was fine. I have LM 60 Blizzaks on a set of 18 inch rims. I came from a modded '07 STi and was worried coming from awd. Driving with common sense, I was completely comfortable.

It acts like any RWD car plus the 416 HPs. Driving smart and Blizzaks are your friends. FYI, I bought a CR-V for winter. Go figure. Good luck and congrats!

i have a 2010 and run staggered blizzaks - 18 inch, with no issues. Snow mode and common sense and you are good to go.

welcome and congrats on the purchase. snow tires FTW!

My 2013 is far superior in the snow compared to my 2009; running the same 19" staggered blizzaks.

You're golden.

Agreed. Had a couple of close calls with the F when I drove it during winter. I drive an SUV now during winter.

After two winters in the IS F, I finally purchased an IS300 for a winter beater.

I was never worried about the car and its handling, but more worried about the guy behind me on those slow drives into work in heavy traffic each day. Nothing like having the Wald rear diffuser slid into by a 1998 Hyundai accent :(
