Awesome to hear about getting the identity of the criminal.

Send him to the middle east to have his hands cut off!

Although this thread was very successful, for future reference maybe we shouldn't publicize these things as much since the thief could have easily checked lexus forums and stayed down low.
Given the circumstances and nature of the situation though, it is unlikely a wheel thief would think 1 inch outside of the box anyway to cover his footprints xD
True, but I was at my wits' end and did not know what else to do so I decided to take the risk and ask for help here. It turned out better than expected and a lot of people sent me the craigslist link the next day or so.

love this idea. thieves like this really SHOULD have their limbs cut off. maybe not both hands bc then he'll go on disability and we as the tax payers will be paying for his ***. so, just chop off, like, two fingers off each hand and brand the word "LOSER" on his forehead w/ a branding iron and call it a day.

Yea. That was one of the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the car. If places like this are not safe than no where is really secure and that is exactly what bothers me.

Awesome news! I'm glad this ordeal is almost over and you can rest at ease.

I'm just so surprised how dumb he is for providing so much contact info to get him arrested so quickly.

Angry Don't Let This Slide

Spoon22,

Don't let this go. This guy did not just steal your wheels. He destroyed your car. That is a bad indicator. He absolutely did not care.

I would remind his parents that they helped conceal your stolen wheels. As far as his car goes they were foolish to have provided it to him. The parents did nothing but enable the kid so that he could plaque your neighborhood.

This guy simply does not care and will never change. If you don't get him out of your neighborhood and away from his enabling parents he will just do it again. The next victims could really get hurt.

Press charges. The key was not leaving the car jacked up. What he did is a sign of a true POS.

what the hell does it matter how much the wheels cost? If they cost $400 or $4000, it's irrelevant. The jerkoff deserves to be punished severely for taking something that doesn't belong to him.
