Default Car is finally done and WOW.....(added pics)

I just had PPE headers, BC coilovers with swift upgrade and sikky sway bar installed and all I have to say is WOW. The car feels like a refined machine, just perfect. The sound of the PPE's and the borla exhaust is amazing, the handling has greatly improved, car stays flat in the turns, I couldn't be happier. I also had ceramic 30% tints done at the same time by Carbox Industries in Thornhill, the car's look flows perfectly now. I feel like I have a brand new car.

Thanks to Mike at Figs for walking me through the purchase of the headers and the suspension, you are a book of knowledge.

Thanks so much to Defcon Racing, all my mods have been done by them. I was worried by all the stories about fitment, CEL's and ability of the mechanic that I almost drove to NY or Balimore to have the headers installed by someone who had experience installing them. This is not the case, it almost all boils down to the Tech himself, he either sucks at his job or he doesn't. The workmanship at Defcon Racing is second to none. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

If anybody is looking for a shop for your IS-F in the Greater Toronto Area Defcon Racing in Thornhill is where you want to be.

The car is pretty much stock height until I can determine how low I can go. My parking garage is very steep

Alot of mods done at once. I bet it is a night and day difference. I am joining the header Club soon too. Can't wait.

Did you buy additional gaskets or anything else for the install? I could have sworn there as a a thread on tips and things to buy for the installer of PPE headers to ensure everything goes right the first time and I can't find the thread anymore lol.

I bought manifold to head gaskets and two new air/fuel sensors as insurance. If I had to buy the sensors in Toronto they would have cost me $1000 from the dealer. So I payed $400 before hand from sewell lexus not knowing if I'd need them and sure enough I did. Saved myself $600....

Cool. Thanks for the info. I knew ppl recommended gaskets. I didn't remember if they were manifold to header or header to exhaust.

Congrats again on all the upgrades.

It's manifold/headers to engine.
