The Laser heads in general practice must be visable to work - and you want them up close to headlights (ie shiny reflective parts where cops target lidar). You could skip the rear heads and still have good coverage (most lidar hits come from the front) for even more stealth. I give mad props to ERDOC - his setup is legit and who's I copied. If you do the research you'll be sold. I have very few concerns driving 'spirited' with my F. I have had several minor saves with both Radar and Lidar.. nothing puts a smile on your face like avoiding a ticket

He speaks the TRUTH!!! My LI jammer heads are in the grill likes Silverlexg's but bottom corners.... Thanks for the props!

The **** is for bass control (rear sub). Then the control box is for the Bell STiR+.

The 2 aren't integrated - you can get the escort (Bell & Escort are sister companies) version of this system if you want one system - but the Laser Jammers arent nearly as good as the LI's. So.. Buy the STiR+ and get the best radar setup out there.. and spend the money saved for the LI's and get the best of both systems.

have my laser interceptors mount at the top of the lower grill

yes you will want to cut the grill as you will reduce effectiveness of the jamer placing them behind it

Greg when you get yours installed we should cruise more often. That way your $1K+ investment on radar saves me money as well

if you can keep up vj.
was at car show and my car, lambo aventador and brand new audi rs5 all had laser set ups.
thats pretty good company.
The rs5 is pretty ridiculous. kid paid like 90 grand for it though. but is getting 5000$ supercharger/tune and will have 700hp to the crank.

Roads by bear mtn are fun but need to watch for deer. Rs5 is over priced. Almost $30k more than a brand new F.

You have to put some thought into the head mounting. The ISF install is more difficult than other cars.

You can glue the heads, but then you can't adjust them.

As far as what to go with, Laser Interceptor all the way. Don't even waste your time/money with anything else.

Can these jammers jam any kind of speed camera?

Or to clarify you can go to this link and read the second post it's Lidar that I'm trying to avoid:

I'm certainly no technical guru of radar/laser detection and laser jamming compared to the two guys giving you advice on that thread... BUT... from looking at Guys of LIDAR's independent testing and countless anecdotal evidence of other LI owners on radar detector forums, I certainly would think Laser Interceptor jammers would be MUCH more likely to jam this type of van lidar setups than the escort laser shifters which are the worst one the market... blinders are an inbetween company... but why go for second best???

That wasn't me on the other thread.

I just found them talking about the same type of cameras we have here.

But thanks for the advice

I have my Blinder M27's mounted this way. Before I got the Hide-a-Plate I felt was more likely to get hit on the license plate before the headlights.

That looks fantastic. Everything blends into the car very well. If you're not familiar with the car at all, you may just assume that's some integrated piece of the car.
