Was this an option? I thought it was standard on all F's.

You can also view the manual in lexus owners link while your paper manual gets ship. I actually prefer doing it online cuz you can do "ctrl f" to find specific subject.

Auto unlock when your in the vicinity of the car. Is not an option for the F. You have to put your hand in the door handle to make it unlock.

While your waiting for it to arrive. Set up an account.

https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lex...on/register.do

And get all of the manuals in PDF form. That way you can use your glove box for something else.

Ah I mis-understood your statement. Yes it would be nice to have auto unlock!

That's what Iv done since I bought it. Just didn't know the other part lol. Its nice to have a real book in the car, gf and other people that drive my car and they might need to look up certain stuff, etc.

I think overtime the sensor degrades also? Because several members have reported their sensor not being as sensitive as when they first bought their cars.

I find myself having to reach the door handle more than once every once in a while. In addition, my passenger side works much more accurately probably because it gets much less use.

Auto lock only works when you unlock your car (using the remote or the door handle) but don't open the door, then the car will lock the doors again.
