I completely agree! but Calgary is going through a full regrading/paving in the downtown core (where I live and work) and they seem to do it one lane at a time. think 4" vertical difference between lanes, 4"+ gaping manhole covers, and enough potholes (from open pavement and huge amount of rain) to take out a rim. To be honest they are saving my front bumper and have become skid plates.
