Header install and now first code
#17
Wanted to update this thread. On May 11th (after my 3rd code), I decided to double up the PPE gaskets where the headers meet the Joe Z exhaust. I did this even though we never found any leaks using soapy water. I also took out both O2 sensors and swapped sides. So far, so good. No more codes. The strange thing was, I was throwing the code the same way all 3 times. Driving down the highway for 10 minutes or so, and then down shifting when hitting the offramp. Every time the code went was the 4-3 downshift. Strange, but I'm going to knock on wood and hope I fixed it.
Weird we both have the same symptoms... I keep a cheap code scanner in the car in case I need to clear it, but it only happens every 10k or so.

Welp, it happened again last night. Same situation...Driving down the highway for 10 minutes, hit the off ramp and when I downshifted from 3 to 2...bam....code. Went to Autozone this morning and got a P0139 code which I believe is now the driver side O2 (the same sensor as before that I swapped sides). So essentially it went from bank 1 to bank 2. I'm going to rule it as a faulty sensor at this point and replace. Wash, rinse, repeat.
