I think it will look pretty good if you paint the hood leaving the vents CF. I don't think it will save that much weight. I think the OEM hood vs. the Seibon CF hood (no vents) saved like 3 lbs. or something.

Wasn't there a vented cf hood for the F with built-in aero catch hood pins? (different vent design though)

Heck if you guys ever plan on turboing your car this is a good investment for cooling properties, but no it isn't the best to have for daily drivers. Remember it is only ricey if the car didn't pack a punch from the factory. Seibon is a very common brand, and get some thumbs up from body shops for build quality. I have seen that yellowing, and it isn't too bad though I agree on painting the hood to factory color.

Seibon parts are hit or miss

I like the hood and kinda want it but i already spent way too much money this year

as for the carbon yellowing, throw a clear coat on it

What do you think of the Oem hood on the orange Lexus ccs-r ? I kinda lean a little towards that one, but also like this style just becuase I think it could work.

I don't have plans on buying it right now maybe not, but will accept donations to put it on my car

The vents on the CCS-R to me look much better than the Seibon vented hood. Though it might offer some heat dissipation in the engine bay, looks-wise, it just doesn't do it for me. I've seen a few F's with the first Seibon hood, and they all have great fitment.

I think you mean the TRD hood - The CCS-R hood has a giant air duct slit that will allow small farm animals into the engine bay
