I really think that the front needed the drop. I thought that nobody would just drop the front. Cool to see a bunch of people had done it. Im conviced now

Another vote for lowering the front. I'm on teins and the drop is perfect. Been like this for well over a year and no complaints at all.

If you decide to lower front i think you should get SPC ball joints too and get it done at the same time save time and $$$ . I have Swift and SPC , love it so far.

I too have the SPC ball joints, to get the camber in check. I was pulling to the right and it was a camber caster disagreement. Ball joint finally fixed it after many other failed attempts.

Have eibach springs in the front only and it rides awesome and makes the car look even in my opinion.

I lowered on Swift springs. The car looks better, feels the same as stock, and I have no premature camber wear... at least not that I've seen. I did get an alignment.

Drive it hard and you will feel the difference in the performance. All of these springs can not balance this car better than stock. Coil overs I can not speak to, but in terms of tossing the F left to right and over uneven roads nothing beats the stock springs.

I also have a "hot swap" cosmetic set up for shows, etc(4-full assembly swift springs / stock struts). Looks beautiful but doesnt handle like the stock springs. Lexus knew what they were doing.

Enjoy them though - as long as you like the look and are good with the ride

Love the look in these photos - but worried about diminution in handling. NYC ES3, on a scale from 1-10 lets assume stock handling = 10. How would you rate handling with swifts?

Under certain conditions 7.5
its the transitions that is cant make...and if the road gets uneven they get a little bouncey as do the eibachs...
take a look at the pics above that millimeter of thickness all around makes a difference in how that stock spring takes the weight under quick transitions or heavier loads , like turning hard (er).

IMO the "stiffer" ride people describe is more so the shocks not eating up the bump n holes like they used to because the travel of the piston has been shortened due to the drop. The car isnt stiffer, its just hitting *ish harder than before

For the type of driving I do, I don't notice a difference. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being your blind grandmother driving and 10 being the Stig on a dry track with r-comps, I probably normally drive around at a 4 commuting to work and a max of maybe 7.5 when I'm ripping around d some twisty back roads. I never approach "10" especially around corners, and I have not driven hard enough to notice that the car feels less planted. It does look better all day everyday though, so in my opinion the tradeoff was well worth it.

Why in the world would you do that, when a quality spring can be purchased for roughly $200?
