Where can I get an exhaust flange?
Does anyone know where I can get the exhaust flange from the axle back portion? I was at a buddies fab shop and he wants to build me a axle back, however the flange from that point is very odd. he literally had 40 to 50 diff flanges but the Lexus one is an odd shape.
any help would be appreciated. |
Just cut it from the old one and weld it on to your new section.

^^^^That's a 2.5" flange. Lexus describes the stock exhaust system:
The stainless steel exhaust system starts with tubular exhaust manifolds and integrated catalysts. Next come dual 2.4-inch diameter front pipes that are joined before a pre-muffler and 2.7-inch single center pipe, after which the system splits into two 2.1-inch pipes and enters dual 16.8-liter mufflers. I made some back when I was developing my ti axle back. Still have 5 left SUS 303 its 100mm

that Megan flange sure looks correct. I found 1 on ebay that is identical. does it matter if the piping is different as long as the flange connects correctley. the muffler shop can use 2.5 in pipes?

I can pretty well assure you if they are listing it as a universal part and its showing for the 350 and 250 then its not. That is why I designed my own.

figs how does this flange bolt up? Does the rest of the flange need to be fabricated?
