I agree with Lobux to an extent. In the GT-R you can shift with the lever...only the paddles. That being said, those paddles are 3 times the size and you have no problems using them no matter how hard you're turning. The paddles in the F are exactly user friendly while turning.
I agree with what you are trying to say here i think. What makes the paddles easier on the GTR is that they are stationary on the steering column...i always kinda wished they had done that with the ISF also, but im sure there was a reason they didnt.
This is contrary to every driving school I have attended and every book I've read on driving fast. BOTH hands should be on the wheel in any turn, even if you are shuffle steering. One hand does not provide sufficient feedback or control.
Completely agree. Talking your hand off the wheel to shift with a **** is complete nonsense. Not only is it unsafe but your teaching yourself really bad habits if you ever want to track the car. There's a reason fomula 1 drivers use shift paddles. Its not unmanly or lacking in "the driver experience". Its the "winning experience".. Now if I could only master left foot braking...
