lobux (just like myself) is man who has his used oil sent out and tested
it always comes back with great results indicating to take it way past the the regular interval change
almost 70% past
the recommended is to frequent
you are wasting oil. and its foolish
and mobile 1 according to all my research is the best
im sure they are all pretty good tho

Oh and I talked to a tech at lexus, they actually do not use synthetic in their oil changes UNLESS customer specifically states so...

Here's a piece of news for everyone - there is no corporate standard for oil across Lexus dealerships. They independently contract for oil with local suppliers, so every dealership will tell you something different. Some use conventional, some use a conventional/synthetic blend, others use synthetic. At the end of the day, they're going to buy an oil they believe they can sell to their customers. I'm pretty confident most dealers are going to go for what brings the best profit margin in the door and they're going to buy a single weight (like 5w-30 or 5w-20) to reduce inventory costs. They deliver oil from a bulk container, not from bottles or cans, so understanding how they do business can help a lot when you're trying to understand the why behind it all.
