Lexus has switched to Full Synthetic 0w20 on all of their new vehicles / engines 2013 and newer. My wife has 2013 RX350 and it takes 0w20 with interval of 10k miles. Probably will change sooner though. I requested the dealer to use Mobile 1 5w30 which is the recommended weight and viscosity for the IS-F engine when they performed oil change on my F.

hi all, best oil for the money is the mobil1 extended performance, i posted numerous logs on it
it is couple dollars more than mobil1 at walmart only 29 for a 5qt jug, has double the cleaning agents as mobil 1 and is a better oil, just make sure if your extending out the oil changes to over 10,000 or 12,000 miles you get a synthetic oil filter from mobil 1 from amazon
cheers

I change F oil every 5k. Some would argue that is to soon if you use full synthetic. Oil is insurance that your engine is properly lubricated. I always change the oil before a track day, even if it's before 5k miles. Ideally you want your car to perform the best and it will with fresh oil.

You're wasting a lot of good oil. If you're not doing UOA, you're foolish at best.

You may be right, be a moderator calling someone a fool. Little tasteless imo.

Who did I call a fool? Sounds like you're taking it a little personally. I said it's foolish at best. I didn't call anyone a fool.
