I did it that way when I first got my F with the non motorized version. The problem with that is the constant scraping. It held on well, but I could not take the scraping sound much longer. Plus, I am already lowered, and the ground clearance from the holder itself gets cut by about an inch, leaving anything and everything to be in contact first (roadkill, speed bumps, driveways, etc.). I like zapa's version much more, and it's pretty stealth. The remote is just sick for shows and showing off.

Just search hide the plate and it will come up. They raised their prices quite a bit. The electric version is now $150
