Hi guys.

I recently got an apexi throttle controller.
After I installed it, it keeps blinking the "white" light and doesn't work; it just blinks from start up of the car til you turn it off.

If anyone has experience with this unit, please provide any info!
I did not tap or splice the wire (which I assume) goes to the reverse lights.

DId you properly calibrate it? I know you have to hold it down the top or bottom button and then push the mash the pedal into floor and press the other button. Im not sure the order.

Yes that is definitely my problem--the calibration.

However the instructions are in Japanese, and no info online.
I will eventually call apexi when they open up...but as of now, no luck with calibration.

I don't know why I only have Japanese instructions...

 

i got only japanese instructions as well. i installed with ith the proper harness and also didnt use the reverse . i also removed the negative terminal on the battery and i never had a problem with the unit

if its blinking, i believe it means it isnt working. maybe try to reintall.

 

Hey guys. I resolved the problem.
Called up Apexi HQ, and they sent me English calibration instructions.
Very simple, hold bottom button, then depress accelerator and hold top button
Then turn off car and hold both buttons simultaneously.

Does this module work well vs Sport mode?

 

Its not meant to be a substitute but to further enhance the throttle control in sport mode.

 

does it make your takeoff a bit more aggressive, or a lot?
