If you are uncomfortable staying at the hotel right there in the casino, Wilmington is less than an hour away, and Philly is just past that. Plenty of options are around.
I am not familiar with the area at all but is it that bad...? I mean if its we could take turns doing guard watch in 2 hour shifts, lol!
I will certainly be making a weekend trip out of it. I will be staying in DC and doing some sightseeing there. I hope to see plenty of VA/DC folks for some recommendations on places to go after the meet.
me and the boys from SoCal might have to plan a meet that's similar. Maybe I'll have to talk to the others to plan a Socal Meets Norcal meet...we'll easily exceed whatever you guys are planning
I will most likely make an overnight trip out of it too. If I do, more than likely I'll stay at the Dover Downs hotel.
Man I really want to go. It would be sweet to have like 40 Fs all in one spot at the same time. Though with the over night trip thats where it gets hard for me. If its an overnighter not sure if that will fly with my parents but im so down for go karting.

Vijay, we're going to need to exchange some planning emails for things to do while we're there. I figure lunch and a drive are both givens so we need to figure out where we're going to go. We'll need to find a spot to take some pics too, and then perhaps we can figure out who all will be staying to play some games at the casino and who will be heading out for other places.

You can make it a day trip from here (up and back). It'd be a long day of driving though. I completely understand if you can't make it though. You're definitely in for Karting.

Awesome idea, though that's a solid 1500mi one way from here. To get there, you would stop through Charlotte, Atlanta, Mobile, New Orleans and Houston. That would be an epic trip if you could take a few days to get out there and a few days to get back and stop in various cities along the way.
