Weird noises
My car currently suffers from rough idle at the same ~500 RPMs. I see this issue through stable and varied temperatures, so ECU learning as the seasons change probably isn't the issue.
Fouled plugs could be the culprit and might be a solution. It has in the past worked for my other performance cars, and possibly further supported by the above annecdotal evidence.
Maybe some homework is in order. The OEM plugs are already iridium with three electrodes, and they're not known for having issues, so changing to a different plug is no guarantee the problem is solved. It could just as easily be a marginal coil, bad battery, or a host of other things. Telling someone to install a plug not designed for this particular combustion chamber and assuming it will work is guessing at best.
There are a number of unique things about these engines. Assuming past knowledge of performance engines is applicable to this platform is making a mistake.
I track my car. It has seen much harder use than most. I don't have these issues, and they've not been a common issue reported except in this thread. While my answer may have appeared glib, fouled plugs on this engine would be exceptionally odd. I too have a very long history of working on high performance engines for street and track.
