Default what the consensus on this wheel size

So my wife wants a wheel setup that can run wider tires than stock, and is pretty flush with the fenders. The wheel im looking at only comes in 20x8.5 F and20x10 R

That's one thing that still needs to be determined.

I was thinking of running a 245/285or295, whatever makes the sidewalls all the same

You could run a 245 up front and a 285 in the back on the wheel sizes you listed. How flush to the fender they sit is going to depend on the offsets. If you want to make sure you don't rub and don't need any fender work, I'd recommend at least a +40 in the front and a +50 in the rear.

all about offset... I have 20x9 front, 20x10.5 rear.. offsets are +35 front and +40 rear.. and had to stretch the tires a tad.. 235/30-20 (f) and 275/30-20 (r)

You're going to let your wife drive around in a performance car on stretched tires?

I'm sure I don't need to tell you that it isn't safe...

Whatever wheel you go with, try to get the tires to be the same width front and back, the car will neutral out that way.

^^^ it sounds like she wants more looks and less performance. There is nothing wrong with that if thats what she wants

Until she hits a pothole and the tire comes off the bead, or a blow out from the stretched sidewall.

I wouldn't let my wife or kids ride in some jerry rigged car.

To each his own! Happy wife, Happy Life!

im running the same set up i got a 10.5 with a 245 but i need to get a rim with a little less offset so that i can run a much wider tire in the back and front..i did fender work already and pulled my rears out a bit n still tired to keep the factory line but next rim i get will be a little less offset but same width so i don't brake traction when i punch it..so tired of it
