I'm looking at a used IS-F and see this in the service history:

Dealer Reported 03/18/2011 Northside Lexus 22202 FARMERS / UNIBODY
Dealer Reported 03/18/2011 Northside Lexus 22202 FARMERS / MECHANICAL

Carfax is clean. I suspect there was an accident repair and neither Farmers insurance nor Northside Lexus reported it to Carfax?

Anyone have any other thoughts?

call northside lexus with the Vin tell them your buying the car and maybe their computer system has a bit more detail, thats a bit generic

Carfax is crap. Trust the dealer history and as the other poster said, try contacting them for more information. If they don't have any more info, I would assume the worst.

Sounds like a fender bender. Contact the dealership and try and get a copy of the estimate.

Yep most dealers are pretty cool especially if you intend to do your service there and establish a relationship
