Nice, I was thinking of doing that some time ago but was concerned about drone. Any issues? Where did you get the pipe?

surprisingly zero issues with drone, and i've done a 6 hour road trip with it.

pipe was custom made by http://www.higherarcing.org/ he does custom exhaust, headers, etc in my area and his work is second to none.

Looks good. Now you have to make the customary video.
Those v-band clamps are interesting. They look more like food grade then automotive grade.

nothing that would be accurate. My baseline dyno was with the exhaust, since then i've added an injen intake so it wouldnt be relative.

I can't see myself losing any power.

What kind of clamps are those? Where did you get them?

His welds look really good! Time to post up a vid of your Borla Exhaust Mod. And if its convincing enough you can probably talk others into doing this mod and have your friend make a few cutom pipes and supply clamps to support the demand for your exhaust mod. Food for though

The only challenge to that would be that the installer would have to cut the pipes and weld a supplied v-band flanges at the exact angles of the delete pipes. Not that big of a deal but it would not be a bolt on offering.

To the OP, why did the shop that performed the work choose to use a v-band? To give you the option of reinstalling the resonators quickly?

v-bands were used for ease of install etc.

I will take her out for a spin tonight and definitely take a video. Hopefully the ipad, or blackberry can pick up a rough idea of the sound.
