Default Whats a fair Price for a used IS-F

I am in the market for a 2011 ISF, I have a 2008. I found this 2011 with 4,600 miles about 500 mile from my location.

Is the asking price of $54,989 a fair price?

It's all relative dude...I bought my 2008 IS F brand new with 19 miles on the clock for $55,000. Depends on what you want. I'm thinking about selling my IS F for $34,500...it has 81,000 miles it, but it's in very good condition for how many miles are on the car.

I dont know if location is an issue but if you do a nationwide search on autotrader there are quite few listed below 53k and are all under 10k miles.

Default Fair price on used..

Well the deal is.. My local dealer will get 2011 ISF for me, taking my on trade. Like I said I have an 08 Smoky Granit Mica with 42K mile. In my area it’s tough to sell a high dollar like an ISF, so I am at the mercy trading it in. I plan to stop at the dealer today and see what then can do on trade.

so...you're trading in an 08 IS F for a 11 IS F?....WHY? I know performance mods are there, but it's not THAT big of a difference.

I see North Shore has an 11, Obsidian, with 20k on it for $56,000, certified. Not sure how much they are willing to come down from that. Which dealer are you working with? I went from an 09 to my 11 last fall at Lexus of Brookfield. I see McGrath has an 11 USB with 13k for $55,700. Good luck with your search, very happy with the upgrade to the 11, will see how does on the track at Road America shortly.

Couple of reasons for trading up. I like the new dash layout, ride has improved and my warranty is about to expire. Trading now with remaining warranty tends to get a bit more on trade in.

Not a big fan of the Obsidian, plus I am looking for one with lower miles. I am currently working with Bergstrom Lexus. According to the sales guy they can get a Lexus certified 2011, which will be sold as new. The car has 5K miles but has not been titled, so it can be sold as new. They offered a sale price of $59K and $38K for my trade.

Did Road America last October. Had a blast!!! The car performed perfectly. Bring gas.. 4.4mpg on the track, almost 2 tanks of gas Are you doing the MVP tracktime coming up in July?

There is a Black 2010 ISF at the Lexus in Milwaukee. Looked at it on Thursday. But they could make you a deal on it

you should just extend your warranty another year and wait for the redesigned F for 2013/14.

no one knows if that's actually coming. It's not like IS F sales are BOOMING. And if they're like BMW...they'll release the new IS250/350 first to all the regular consumers, then they'll release the F later...remember...the F came 3 years after the IS was released.

Besides...when you want a new car...who the hell is gonna wait 1-2 years? He's seeing that his warranty is up, so he's gonna get a 11 model, and in 2-3 years he'll probably dumb it and get something else.
