Default My Gears are not shifting properly around 100mph

So Im punching it and it feels like my gears are stuck not opening up to the other gears. It dosent happen all the time but enough to concern me at this point. Has this happened to anybody else?

Few clarifications needed,

Are you driving in auto? Then you might feel that way. Try manual with sport mode on. Secondly are you driving on the freeway at 100?

Everyone that I know does 80-100mph on the freeway. (Married Men 30+ years old...if traffic allows it).

Curious to know if this is just a safety feature on the Trans for the 2012's or the F's all together...

I finally had a chance to open up my 2012 and hit 115mph open road w/ the fam <-- They loved it! LOL ! and was on "D" with Sport Mode On and Manually Shifting, no issues here whatsoever... Shifting was smooth and precise just like everyone claims but had to let off cause I ran out of road so cant justify anything past 115mph...

you need to be in "m" mode, not "d" mode. in d mode you are still using the torque converter when you paddle shift.

120...... Km/h anything more than that the cops in Canada will pull you over. ( the speed limit on the highway is 100 km/h)

^ Ahhh positive feedback, gotta love it! Thanks for the info! Now it makes sense why the car eased into the next gear and not "lightning shifted" like it should of. Noted. Thanks again bro !

ProperD-that was the stupidest answer i read all day. I BOUGHT THE CAR TO DRIVE IT FAST. otherwise I'm just showing her off and drive her like a grandma. She has to work for my affection thru performance. Yes that means doing over a 100mph with her. Why on Gods green earth would I not be doing a 100.

To all you guys that never drive fast with your machine. Why do you own it? To just drive it like a normal car? Then buy a normal car. This machine is for the person who LOVES driving fast, very fast. This car craves speed and I am proud to push her as hard as she wants to go.

ISF means the opposite of "Speed Limit"

Sincerely
