Default New (to me) IS-F

Whats up guys. Had the debate for awhile between the M3, IS-F, and C63 and the Lexus won out for me. Picked this up today. 2008 with 35000 miles. Loving it so far

Thanks guys. I came from an 07 Impala SS which, though you will laugh at me was hard to get rid of. That car was great to me and went through some rough times with me as well. I just got out of the military and landed myself a good job so I figured it was time to upgrade, and if there was any time to get myself an awesome car, being 29, single, no commitments, and a good job was the time to do it.

I just hope its just as reliable as I've been reading, cause she wasn't cheap! (for me)

i just bought my 08 MM ISF a few weeks ago with 34,500 miles.. Check to see if you have any factory warranty left as I was able to get a new battery, right shock and HID all covered.. congrats!

I think mine just ran up in May but I'll have to check again. I didn't but from a Lexus dealer but from a local Carmax competitor here. They had an extended warranty for an additional 3 years./30000 miles for 1400 but I opted out as this was one of the reasons I got the Lexus over the Benz or BMW (reliability). But now I'm starting to wonder after seeing some horror stories about the 2k nav and whatnot

I bought mine from a private seller here in southern california and bought lexus platinum extended warranty though a toyota dealership in Kansas I found here. You will not qualify for lexus platinum buy may find something cheaper than what your dealer was offering you. I paid 1765 for a 8 year 75K warranty. It's worth the peace of mind IMO. Search my recent thread about my extended warranty experience and may have some insight for you..

Wow 1765 that is a killer deal. I'm definitely going to look into that. Also just found the original deliver certificate..looks like this was purchased new on June 3 2008 so I have appx 1 day to pick up that platinum warranty haha

Congrats on the ride! Extended warranties are definitely peace of mind. Some swear never to get them, as hardly they're ever used. But should you find yourself in a position where you need warranty work, it is there for you. $1765 is an absolutely great deal!
