After reading the forums here and doing homework I decided on:

Michelin Super Sport Pilots
275/30ZR19 rear
245/35ZR19XL front

Most CL members stated putting wider tires than stock helps the ride substantially and fit on the stock wheels with out rubbing so I ordered them. When at the shop the staff recommended against due to slower lap times (I don't plan on tracking) and more vulnerable to blowing out tire if hitting bad pot hole.

Has anyone heard problems when oversizing tires on the ISF.. I've read members putting 285/30/19 with out problems

I decided to go with the 275/245 set up as I trust the mulitiple ISF owners opinions here as opposed to one that are digging this set up.

I felt I made the right choice.

I bought my 08 ISF tuesday and the nitto invos were just about cooked that were on the car. I already fill a huge difference. Much smoother and quieter and nice to know I have a little extra rubber under this beast!

Personally, I don't like 'em. I've had mine since last August.

At first they seemed great. Quiet. Softer than the OEM tires. I gave them some time before I began "testing" them, and I must I'm dissappointed in them. The hype may have been too much and the praise too high. Not nearly as much cornering grip as I anticipated after reading all the reviews.

Although considerably more expensive, I would consider going back to the OEM tires before buying another set of PSSs.

Next time try just upsizing the front tires to 245. It will reduce the understeer and make the car more neutral.

If you dont have a 10+ model with the redesigned suspension, I would suggest adding a Rear F-Sport bar to the car, it will reduce understeer even more.

With my snow tires on I can induce oversteer just by turning in really hard.

I've been running 245/275 for ~2 years now. No problems what so ever, great tire size. The line about blowing out a tire on pot holes sounds like BS to me as the side wall is minimally smaller than stock. And as far as lap times, I think they have it backwards, a slightly smaller diameter tire will actually accelerate FASTER.

As for the PSS, I have no experience. I've run the PS2 (stock) and Vedestein Ultrac Sessanta and they both have been great with the Vred's lasting almost 50% longer so far (and still going).

I have stock tire sizes continental dws and my tire blew out driving thru NYC...getting a flat depends on where you drive and potholes too. But yes the likeliness is higher but not significantly.

Stock. None of the reviews said they upsized, so I didn't feel it necessary even though it obviously would help.

Already planned on the sway bar. $155 from Sewell and $105 for install.

I think around 11k now.

Melbitoast, how much PSI are you running on your Michelin's? I ask because the amout of PSI drastically affects the cars handling. Try to increase the PSI and see how they do...Darshana S...

Install of the rear swaybar is a piece of cake. IF you have the hand tools, do it yourself. If you don't have the tools (combination wrenches and socket set) then spend the $105 on a set from Craftsmen and do it yourself. You will then have the tools forever for other projects.
