SIKKY Headers came in... Got A Question?
Real happy that my Sikky Headers came in today.
Need to say thanks to the guys at JE!!! They have amazing customer service with great music while your on hold.
So my question...
Do all the sikky headers have an uneven surface where the manifold attaches to the block????? With my set, the passenger side header has a far flatter surface than the one for the driver side. Im a bit worried that the header isnt going to seal properly because of the uneven finish. I performed a very unscientific test on my counter tops to see how flat they were and was very disappointed. The counter tops are laser cut, so i know their flat. Im not sure if I should be bummed or not.....
Passenger side- The Good
Driver Side- The Bad

Uh that is very strange, mine were all flat, u might want to call them lolz , hope they are not defected or u have to file it it down. insert the sikky dipstick in while u put on header , and make sure it in plate in the oil hole with grease , it goes between 1st and second flange.

This isn't the first time today I've hear of a quality issue with the Sikky headers. I wouldn't install those on my motor without planning the gasket surface. Even if they might seal it is not the correct way to release a product to the customer.

This has been discussed before - here:

Make your own judgements.
BTW, PPE headers do not have this issue. See pict attached.

Idk man. I got mine, identical to those, but since i double gasket the headers, no leaks, let me get this straight, you were running low 11s on nos only? No headers? Wtf?!

Mine looked the same, installed half a year ago, reinstalled recently due to a leak that I had for many months but never noticed until I took it to a shop after hearing clicking sound when applying minor throttle.
